ആദ്യത്തെ ഒരു 15 മിനിട്ട് ഒഴിച്ചാല്‍ എന്‍ഗേജിംഗ് ആയി കണ്ടിരിക്കാവുന്ന കാഴ്ചയാണ് 'ഗോഡ്‌സ് ഓണ്‍ കണ്‍ട്രി'. 

ഗോഡ്സ് ഓൺ കൺട്രി സിനിമ ആ നിരയിൽ പുതുതായൊന്നും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല. പ്രേക്ഷകരെ പാടെ നിരാശരാക്കുന്നുമില്ല.

When the film opens, you stare at a jigsaw puzzle in disarray and as the scenes unravel, you are left guessing. Look out for a terrific climax that reinforces the simplicity of these human beings.

It’s a movie suitable for all kind of audiences. The best among the recent releases.

The movie gets too dramatic at times but the director somehow balances it well. But what could be told about this movie is that it conveys a few good messages and reveals a few unknown things. God's Own Country is a good watch with family, friends or even alone.

The debutante scriptwriters Arun Gopinath, Anish Francis and Praveen have succeeded in making the movie a workable, edge of the seat thriller with the right dosage of social messaging that helps its cause. It might be overdone slightly at times but at the end of the day, it is a fine effort alright…

Good work, definitely worth a watch. Good script, convincing performances, controlled direction...real appreciable effort from all those involved

A rather futile attempt in speaking many things at once without a drop of filmmaking finesse. You may have a look if fast-paced, thrilling potboilers are your thing. Do not hesitate to skip if you are story-critical.

The movie is gripping from word go and the first half goes in brisk pace. Post intermission things get emotional but there are few pace variations due to few weak scenes.

God’s Own Country is cliched and predictable.

God's Own Country' begins with great artistic and conceptual rigor, but eventually veers toward a wanton irrationality that it could very well have done without. Yet, despite its blemishes, the film does make a decent evening watch

God’s Own Country is meant for the not so discerning viewers, who don’t think too much while watching a film or start comparing it with already made movies in the same pattern. It’s not bad, but there is nothing new in this one that we haven’t seen before.

If pieces of mild advice, some slight shreds of social commentary here and there do not figure as severe offensive acts for viewers, then God's Own Country is a stirring film. It has that deeply evocative humane quotient which makes each of its characters not just the leads, but also pure human beings

'God's Own Country' is a Fine Film

Overall, I felt God’s Own Country as a passable average film. Audience along with me applauded at the end of the movie when the voice over by director Renjith said some true things about relationships. That part was good, but the movie is just average. Rating is 2.5/5.

 God's own country may not leave you enthralled or shocked with its breathtaking brilliance. But it is a deftly made film which has many good moments and an innate honesty and conviction. Thank God ,this one doesnt bring doesnt discredit to your country!

On an overall, Gods Own Country is an entertainer, with much of suspense element in it. One will not get bored for sure. The movie is worth your money. Go for the movie this weekend and enjoy.
 

A well scripted story serves a well deserving climax in the end and God’s own country doesn’t disappoint in delivering it. Gods own country is surely a movie to be watched for all good reasons.
